The softwood lumber used to manufacture SumX TrimTM for Lumber Products was selected for it’s natural resistance to decay and overall durability. The raw material is harvested predominantly from Asian plantation forests, to ensure a sustainable supply and protect our natural resources. The strength characteristics of the wood combined with the manufacturing process results in a highly stable and functional Exterior Trim Board; engineered for years of performance.
